June 15, 2016 at 2:55 pm #940835but I have a problem to translate MASTHEAD module titles.
Hi
could you create a new masshead module assigned only to french version of the template and translate directly masshead titles ?

June 16, 2016 at 3:32 pm #941166Hi
I have duplicated masthead module and assigned it ot French language but the titles still appear in English even if I have translated them in the module.
I have also assigned the French titles to French menu items in the module but nothing changes.(obviously the module is published)
Any idea?
Just for info, I use Lantern Fish and it requires to disable Joomla language filter plugin…could be a reason?
Thanks in advance for your help
Giulia

Yes it is
I suggested solution for standard joomla multilanguage site , i don’t know how this component works , maybe would be better for you to ask to component developers how you can solve it

Why you do not use standard joomla features ? it is well working and do not overload your website with 3rd party files to be loaded twice for the same feature requested.

June 16, 2016 at 3:58 pm #941174You should create languages menus, in your case French menu and set the home menu item as default item for the french language
Then you should enable the language filter plugin and language module

June 17, 2016 at 6:33 am #941354Language filet plug-in is enabled
I have created a Language Switcher module in position "languageswitcherload" but any flag appears on the top.The module is assigned to all menu items.
I have tried a different position (position1) and only the title of module appears.
What is my mistake?

Did you created languages menus ? one for each installed language ?
Did you assigned your language switcher module to all pages ?I tested on a fresh new ja beranis installation and it worked fine as you can see from my image below
Again if you are on localhost we cannot help much than this
Best regards

June 20, 2016 at 7:13 am #942015Actually I’m re-ording the website following this guide http://jeyjoo.com/blog/how-to-create-a-multilingual-international-website-in-joomla-3
I started to create menu items in the same menus and maybe it was a mess.
I’m also creating 2 different main categories for the 2 languagesHope it will work at last
