January 3, 2011 at 11:29 am #369829hi obliat,
this is maybe due to your translation file, it may be lacking some words. please check en-GB.mod_janewspro.ini, and make sure you have translated all to your language file.
regards.

January 3, 2011 at 5:14 pm #369862Yeah, these words are not there so I went on and found them in php files.
Now I can’t find the word Headlines: at the top Newsflash position.
Update: Found Headlines at JA News Ticker module – it’s OK.

January 4, 2011 at 8:13 am #369949Hi obliat,
No, you should not edit directly on php files, just have to fill your language file with the missing words, its easier and more formal.

January 4, 2011 at 4:53 pm #370045I will follow your advise, but so far it didn’t work out for me. Will try again for sure.
For example – I am translating the days names in the language file and they won’t change in the Headlines date – topbar when hovering year – so where do I translate them – I mean they are in the language file (no need to add them) but it doesn’t work.

About headline, you can replace this text in the JA Newsticker Module configuration >>Replace the default value for HeadText with your text
Clear cache and refresh frontend.
Hope that helps

January 11, 2011 at 1:22 pm #371333Try
Post=….
By=…Because the strings in the PHP file are ‘Post’ and ‘By’ when you enter different value in the lanuage file it won’t work
Post: = is way different than Post=
If you need to put : then do it after =
