Translation is not full. Some words are impossible to translate (“Please login to post new comment.”, “hours ago”, “Hide”). Editing language files from admin panel does’t help.

I found – in /templates/ja_methys/html/com_jacomment/themes/methys/html/comments/item.php the values must be replaced on variables from .ini files.

P.S. Why in this file was written values, not variables?

Would you mind try to get our JA Methys Template v1.1.1. I’ve just checked jacomment template and look like these string are fixed.
PS:// This template not yet supported for 1.7 .
I’m not sure you can use it with your Joomla 1.7

I’m using v1.1.1
I solved issue by replacing values to variables from .ini file
