Hello
this temp here is giving problems with the translation , the frontsite insists to be only in english even if i set my lang on the back admin. it shows like this http://site.com.br/newsite/index.php/en/

/en/ means english , so , it show all in english , could you help me with that please

Did u created the the content (articles and category)
/modules/
menu/
template style for EN language ?
At this time it seems the site content is only for one language , you have to create separate content for each language .

Also i suggest you to do not update Joomla3.6.3 since template is not ready for it , wait for official update for Joomla3.6.3 .

You have to create
3 menu

1. 1 for EN language that has only EN language menu item
2. 1. one for PT-BR language , that has only pt language menu item .
3. 1. One Main menu that has only one menu item , that is Home menu for all language .

i checked your site , you do not have multi-language menu item and content .
Kindly create the separate menu item for EN and Pt language .
And article and category and modules too for each language : http://prntscr.com/cxq9oe
At present, the menu item language is set to All : http://prntscr.com/cxq95c
