Hello,

Is there a problem to post translations here? I just want to share mine, I miss a download section of user translations/contribuitions or something here and for other things.

I almost finished the JA Comment translation, the .ini is translated, but some parts still not change, like the “ago” word when there is a reply.

Another thing, is there a way to export/import the email templates? They are in english and it’s time consuming changing all the msg to another language, I’ve done half, but don’t really want to do all again on another website.

Please my answers one by one as below:

>> JA Comment has integrated import and export email function already. Please goto this link : administrator/index.php?option=com_jacomment&view=emailtemplates then select a language you want to export, the system will export a xml file. In the next page, if you want to import, you can use import function to import as normal.

I am looking the jacomment structure, and found the two problems, one resolved, another I need help, and one new resolved.

It is missing the “VOTE” and “SORT BY: ” sentences in the language file, so they are not translated.

The other is the AGO sentence, it is not JText, seems a script thing, don’t know where to change, but here is the relevant code:

file: components/com_jacomment/themes/default/html/comments/items.php

if($enableTimestamp){
echo $helper->generatTimeStamp(strtotime($item->date));
}else{
echo “<span class=’comment-date’>”. $item->date .”</span>”;

Kindly download and reinstall the latest JA Comment version to get it worked.

After reinstalling, admin: administrator/index.php?option=com_jacomment&view=managelang&client=0 and translate this text HOURS AGO=h ago
