Hello, I have trashed out a lot of unwanted Article, Menus & modules from my admin panel. I then exported the DB and created a new DB for my test environment. But in my test environment the trashed items are showing. Please tell me what is going wrong in here.

Hope it help.July 3, 2015 at 9:10 am #576252Hello, I will try that. But my question is If the items are flagged as trashed in the DB, then when I export it to build a Test Environment it should show as Trashed items there too.

July 3, 2015 at 9:25 am #576262Yes they will because they are in Trashed in your database .
Empty the trash on your site and check your database . (If you are not good in DB knowledge u can take trash as a recycle bin of PC)
Hope it help.July 3, 2015 at 12:10 pm #576297@pankajsharma 481184 wrote:
Yes they will because they are in Trashed in your database .

July 3, 2015 at 1:16 pm #576310Hi
in Joomla if you are uninstalling any extension it will be removed from the directory not from the DB. You need to remove the DB files manually .Pankaj Sharma ModeratorPankaj Sharma

I just exported the LIVE DB after doing all ’empty trash’ for articles, category and menus as you have suggested. I imported it to Test environment and checked , but still all of them are showing. :((
