I am having trouble using the JA Slideshow module in the JA Droid template to display a wide image under the main menu.

When I try to add the module, and click “Save”, I get the following error message: “NO_PERMISSION”

    What am I missing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dear dmason,

You can try to set the write permission for the slideshow module folder (change the cmod value to 755)

Hi, thanks for the reply. Can you please clarify what that means? (I’m a beginner).

    Thanks.

You would use your ftp app to set file permissions. Details of how file permissions work can be found here – http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/en/install_permissions.htm#chmod

The message you are getting is suggesting that the script is trying to write a file but permissions on your server are preventing that from happening.

Yes, using my FTP I see that the Ja Slideshow module folder is already set to 755.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.
