Hi Folks, sorry to ask again. I cant seem to work this out. I have followed several threads and guides, but do not get a new Tab Module to appear- Using J1.5, Teline4 quickstart install.
I followed this thread – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/jatabs-with-two-instances-of-the-same-module/
I have made a JATab module called JA-Tab3 (type ,mod-jatabs) , set position to col-mass-bot and set the menu assigment but nothing shows. I also tried to make a custol HTLM module and inserted the code in the html,

{/jatabs}</blockquote>
But all that displays is the code- Im sorry but can someone point me in the right way.

Hi,

In j1.5.x you don’t need that custom html to achieve the desired effect, i can help you create your new JA TAb module if you send me some temp admin access for your site.

Hi Manos, thanks for the assistance. I will study what you have done.
BTW – can you hint at how to have “latest article” listed rather than an advert?
What I mean is – I would like to have a set of categories thats selected in the Menu selection, so that it shows articles from those categories, when that tabbed category is clicked open. Basically a tab menu with latest articles.

You can use JA bulleting module to display latest article and publish it to my-col-top position in order to be placed on the same TABs i have created for you.

You can think JA TAbs as a container where you can publish more than one modules 🙂 in that way i am sure you will find that JA TAbs is a very powerful module.

HI,

I have published a copy of JA Tabs module on col-mass-top position and after that i have published some modules on my-col-top poss which is actually a dynamic position that JA Tabs can use to display the modules.

I also assigned that module position on the JA TAbs module published on col-mass-top position .

Is that clear ?
