hi,
i’m trying for over a month now to embed the ‘Alef’ font from google web fonts (it’s not in the trmplate).

this is the link:

i’m also adding an example of how it should be seen. in the menu.

please help me.
i’ve added it in the head.php and in some more files, with no help

You embedded the google web fonts not correctly.

You can have a look at quick help as in this screenshot: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/683/5893275658.png

To call Alef font, please open the file templatesja_universitycsstemplate.css and add this line of code: @import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Alef);

Then, open this file templatesja_universitycssmenumega.css and add declaration below:
[PHP].ja-megamenu ul.level0 {
font-family: ‘Alef’, sans-serif;
}[/PHP]

it’s still doesn’t work for me.
i would be glad for your help.

i have deleted from the profile all of the wrong code, like you said, because the font doesn’t seems to be in the google web font plugin system, but i have imported it on the css file.

it’s pretty urgent.
maybe even enter my back-end please

I did access your host and modified files, however such modification did not take effects. Please check again if you sent correct hosting account? Please PM me correct one again.

If possible, let me know the path to template files you wish to edit. I will help you out then.

I helped to modify as follows:
Add declaration into the templatesja_universitycsstemplate.css file:

[PHP]@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Alef:400,700);[/PHP]

And add into the templatesja_universitycssmenumega.css file:
[PHP]@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Alef:400,700);

.ja-megamenu { margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: ‘Alef’, sans-serif; }[/PHP]

Now the http://new.sapir-aguda.co.il/ site already loads google font “Alef” o menu ( pls see screenshot )

i’m sorry, but the font still doesn’t work (my mistake was because i have the font installed on my computer, bu i’ve checked it on another computer which doesn’t have the font installed and i didn’t see it)

When using Google font, no need to have it installed on your computer.

i know, but the font was already installed on my computer.

i have changed my url to http://www.sapir-aguda.co.il/

all of the rest is similar to what was before

I just checked the url above and see the “Alef” font has been imported into your site ( pls see this image ) and your menu loads the “alef” font now, as in this image .
