August 10, 2016 at 8:55 am #958580Hi there, I have my ja mono homepage as you can see with one article in the spotlight area on the homepage. When you click on this article the modules above it remain and so does that article in the spotlight module position also. On your demo when someone clicks on one of these articles on the homepage the modules above nicely disappear and the full article can then be read.
How does one achieve this? Thanks in advance.

August 10, 2016 at 11:36 am #958630Hi
to show the articles in its own page , you need to assign the article to menu item single article type , or the article category to a menu item like category blog , so that when u click on the article it will open under the menu item where it is associated .1 user says Thank You to Pankaj Sharma for this useful post

August 10, 2016 at 1:06 pm #958663Thank you Pankaj, this worked well. thank you for that, the only other issue I have is that on your demo one of the articles in this spotlight section has a longer image. On my site all the images are the same size and well I cannot seem to replicate this longer image.
I do see that on the article under images and links there is an intro image and a full article image and of course the intro image is much longer however mine seems to get cropped here? Any ideas?
I think its because on your demo and in the article in question you have this tab that says ja extra fields but in my version I do not have this tab on my article?

August 11, 2016 at 7:48 am #958958@pankaj thanks for this however when I go to the category and then select extra field i get a selection box that does not have portfolio in it. I only see the following in the category extra field area like this: http://recordit.co/rr1NEkSJHc
Therefore when I go to the article I still cannot select the double height in the extra field tab because there is no tab showing?
Any ideas on this? Thanks

August 11, 2016 at 8:08 am #958966Hi
You can use the multi-template to get this , you have the different template installed that already have extra fields this is the issue extra fields are showing from them .
Or you need to set the default template to JA Mono to get these fields , extra fields will work for the default template .jamjodesign Friendjamjodesign

August 11, 2016 at 8:24 am #958976Hi
Multi templates mean your site using more than one template at this time .
In order to get the extra field of JA Mono, you need to set the JA Mono as the default template .
Hope it’s clear Now .jamjodesign Friendjamjodesign

August 11, 2016 at 9:22 am #959008Ah ok so its not possible. I thought you meant there was a setting for multi-templates or something like this. As i mentioned I cannot set ja-mono as my default template because of course that would mean settings from JA intranet would then get messed up for the rest of my site.
In that case i will just have to do without it. Its a shame its not possible while having JA intranet set as the default template.
