Guys,

I am an experienced Joomla user but this template is sending me on a loop.
I’d really appreciate your help trying to figure this thing out.

I installed the demo with all the content items (quickstart).

First question:
By defualt, JA-News is set to display categories:
23, 24, 33, 25, 34, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32

However is displaying only the items on Category 13 (Example Category ) and ONLY if those content items are published on the home page.

How can that be?

Second question:
How/where is it set that the home page should only display the categories under “News”.
I tried creating a new category under News and it does not show on the home page.
How come the other section’s categories are not being showed on the home page??

JA News has 2 part: one is Headline news and one is Category listing. The first part display news in Frontpage. In our demo site, all frontpage news come from Example Category. The second pard lists all categories set in Category IDs parameter.

AHHHHHHHHHHH thank you SOOOOOO MUCH! You may want to clarify that in your manual and use examples from your working demo. Just a suggestion. Great product!
