trying to style date2 module…

i added this to the bottom of my template.css and for some reason it isnt working… any idea’s why?

#ja-date2 {
font-size:12px;
font-weight:bold;
color: #000000;
}

i have even tried it as:
.ja-date2 {
font-size:12px;
font-weight:bold;
color: #000000;
}
