I have tried turning of the Author and Create Date in the Events section – the display of the date is confusing and the author is irrelevant.
I have turned it off in an article but it still appears.
It would be useful to be able to urn it off for the entire category.

So that I can try to best assist you, please temporarily set "Optimize CSS" to "Off" within your Template Manager–General settings.
