How can I turn off the date on the top of the page?

By removing the code in index.php

LOL, you need to edit the template’s index.php:

/public_html/templates/ja_teline_ii/index.php

goto line 111

And remove:

<div class="ja-day"> <?php echo "<span>".date ('l')."</span>"; echo " <div>".date ('M')." ".date ('d').date ('S')."</div>"; ?> </div>
