Hope I’m not jumping in but I had to reply. I’d love access to the back end so to speak! 🙂

Done in the article itself with Advanced Settings i.e. Show category. Or you can turn this off for all articles in global settings under article manager and then ‘options’ and apply to all articles. Lots of choices there.

this is what i usually do. I goto the options and hide category. In this particular case it does not work

I had similar and managed to solve it by turning everything off in the article itself. Remember to clear the Jat 3 cache each time.

    Sorry it doesn’t work.

I’m only a Joomla beginner so when I’m in such situations I make a new article and copy the text over, do the advanced settings switching things off in the article itself, save and see if it all works properly on that new article. If it does (and it has in the past) I then delete the old article. May not be very scientific but it’s worked for me! 😀

thanks swissa – that is what i usually do but that does not work. It appears to be connected with janewspro module

Glad it is not just me that does that! 😉

Silly question but I take it that you’ve turned off ‘Show Category Title’ in JA News Pro in the display settings? Other than that I can’t be of any use to you I’m afraid. Sorry!

Try cross posting into the forum for the module.

    Good Luck!

Here is how you can modify/eliminate this page heading issue . . . .

First of all, I’m assuming the issue to which you are referring is the title “Articles” – as depicted below:

Within the path /templates/mytemplate/html/com_content/default.php . . . at line 21, you should see the following:

    Change the value “1” to “0” – as follows . . .

This should remove the “Page Heading” issue altogether

You can also find the additional coding that influences this issue within your en-GB.ini file . . .

    Hope this helps
