December 17, 2015 at 4:42 pm #818815Hello,
I have configured the link to social media that are located in the footer of the uber template, the linkedin and facebook are working correctly, but the Twitter link is opening a pop up window inserting this code (intent/follow?source=followbutton&variant=1.0&screen_name=) in the url instead of just the simple URL (www.twitter/accountname) and opening a new tab in the browser.
The address to the website for testing is given in the hidden part of the post.
Can you please let me know how this can be modified ?
Thank you for your help.

December 19, 2015 at 4:32 am #821395Hi @encretpixel,
Thanks for your patience. I discussed with our development team about this matter but look like it’s default behavior of Twitter follow button in Addthis, more detail can be found here.

December 19, 2015 at 10:40 am #821748Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
So then as far I as understand, there is no way to change this behaviour ? Well it’s quite annoying as this is certainly not what I intended to do…
Just for the check I took a look at your joomlart.com website and clicking on the twitter button on the bottom of the page just redirect to your twitter homepage in a new tab, this is exactly what I want to achieve. So there is obviously a way to do it…
Sorry but I am getting annoyed by the answers of the support team at joomlart, basically saying 50 – 70 % of the time : "this is like this and there is nothing we can do to change it". This is always forcing me to take time and energy to find my own solutions which, I am sure, could have been found much quicker by your team. In this situation I don’t really know what subscribing to an expensive "developper" account brings me as advantages…
Again I found the solution myself…
