    I’ve been trying to add the twitter module to my template but it doesn’t seem to be displaying correctly. You can see it here….

    I’ve tried changing all of the settings and different combinations of settings, but I can’t get it to show up like it does on the demo template.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi 2113inc,

    You can try to refer the default settings of Twitter module within the snapshot below, then clear JAT3 cache after saving changes.

    Hi everybody!

    It works in case you set the default parameters but whenever you return and chose to SHOW Twitter Avatar the display is wrong as on the above attached picture. The date of the tweet (e.g. about 21 hours ago) goes out of the rectangle.

    Hi pofagyalu,

    Did you try to update the latest version of our JA Twitter module v2.6.0 ? You can send me PM with the admin login info if the module does not display correctly when showing the Twitter avatar. I will back to help you check this issue.

    Hi Leo, I updated the module. The situation now is much better still the arrangement/layout is not exactly nice. Please have a look at the picture.

    When I choose the long button the arrangement gets wery high and looks bad. Could there be done something to avoid this? Maybe the possibility to change the alingment of the button and text/content from vertical to horizontal ?? Thanks

    Hi,

    You can try to put below override css style into the end of templates/ja_kranos/css/template.css file:

    .ja-twitter-tweets {
    margin-bottom: -40px;
    }

    #ja-twitter center {
    display: block !important;
    }

    Then remember to clear JAT3 cache and the module layout will look like my attached snapshot below.

    Hi Leo,

    Since I do not have exactly the same thing as you write above I have made a copy of all twitter related texts in template.css so you can have a closer look. I have included to the end of the file what you have asked for and cache cleared. Things are not better, even though the look is now different.

    div.ja-twitter {
    position: relative;
    }

    div.ja-twitter center a.followbutton-none {
    background: url(“../images/btn-followus.png”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    display: block;
    height: 40px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-indent: -999em;
    width: 40px;
    position: absolute;
    left: 20px;
    }

    .ja-twitter-tweets {
    padding-left: 50px;
    float: left;
    }

    .ja-twitter-tweets {
    margin-bottom: -40px;
    }

    #ja-twitter center {
    display: block !important;
    }

    @ Pofagyalu,

    You can check the CSS declaration suggested above for template.css file and increase the padding top of ja-twitter-tweets class from:

    margin-bottom: -40px;

    to

    margin-bottom: -20px;

    Then, clear JAT3 cache after updating.
