Dear Joomlart

First and foremost – JA Wall rocks and everything is working on our site except for this new issue that has creeped up.

Current Problem:
After going through and fixing several new API issues with the Twitter Module and Facebook on http://www.DR4Christ.com – I can not get the Twitter portion of the JA System Social Feed plugin to cron new tweets into our K2 content.

Current state:
Everything is firing on all cylinders. Joomla is up to date – 3.6.4 and JA Extention Manger identifies JA Wall as version 1.2.1 (although Joomla still identifies it as needing updated – this is an update issue from over a year ago – and hasn’t produced any problems over the last year).

Things that have been done:
I have have filled in new app id and access token keys after creating a new app in Twitter. (Also regenerated Token)
I have placed the new app id and access token into the JA Twitter Module (separate from the plugin) and confirmed that this Module is conning in new Tweets into http://www.DR4Christ.com (As seen in the top right corner)

• I have included a screen shot of the settings (and played around with them enabling everything etc.)

Question Lingering in My Mind: Could there be something that has not been covered in the manual on Twitter OAuth information? Maybe a new setting not covered – etc.?

Bottom Line – Twitter is no longer cronning with the JA System Social plugin 1.2.8 in Joomla – I have included my creds in case you want to access our site in order to confirm. Please me my Ninja brother.

🙂 I wish it were that easy. Trust me we tried the follow:dr4jesus change quite a few times. We found that dr4jesus (without the follow:) last night was working better with the "Verify" button. That is why we kept it just dr4jesus. Regardless follow:dr4jesus does not cron in the last 3 tweets in the last 24 hours when engaging the update setting. Your the man – but we still need some help on this one – the problem is deeper than that.

I love you man – but it is not follow: – from: – @ or just dr4jesus. None of it crons fresh tweets. Here is a picture of from:dr4jesus – I wouldn’t bother you for something so simple. Yes from:dr4jesus does verify – but it does not cron into K3 content. Love you man – but it isn’t that easy.

On http://www.DR4Christ.com the twitter count (left menu) should be 37 and it currently is at 33. The last 4 tweets (tests over the last 72 hours) are not coming into K2.

Hi Tom,

I don’t get your point here. In the JA Social Feed plugin, you import tweets into K2 category: TWITTER which, as I can see now, has more than 33 items. But there are 33 items are published while some remained are unpublished that why you see the count number is 33 only.

I tried to publish item ID:1099 and you can see it shows 34 now.

If I didn’t get your point correctly, tell me the tweets which are not imported so I will check.

Yes you are correct – I have been trying to do anything to get this to cron into K2. Right now the count is 34 (on dr4christ.com) and should be 38. The last 4 tweets are not in K2 content inside Joomla, nor are they published. While we have over 175 tweets we are only intrested in the lastest ones. The last 4 tweets from this week on dr4jesus are no where to be found. They are: Oct 26 Santiago, Dominican Republic

I tried to create a new K2 category called ‘Twitter 2’ and imported tweets into there but it doesn’t work, is there something wrong with your account in Twitter settings?

No Saguaros – there is nothing wrong with the settings. It is just not updating. I published 4 new tweets today – again they are not coming into K2 Items – at all. This is a problem now.

The reason we know it is working is the Twitter API is cronning into the Twitter Module (Top Right hand corner on http://www.DR4Christ.com) So the module is taking the info – K2 and or Joomla is interfering with the JA Social System plugin.

Just cronned – reset the Twitter 2 K2 category into its original Twitter category and it still is not working. (On either one)

Dear Joomlart

Never heard back from you SAGUAROS and I know I can open a support ticket for this but I figure you are busy working on the new version of JA Wall for 3.7.2. Wanted to reiterate that Twitter is no longer crooning with the newer JA System Social Feed plugin 1.3.2 on our site. We reset the token etc .again today after bringing everything up to date with Joomla 3.6.5 and everything in the settings is A.O.K. – the plugin is just not working.

Please really look into this as you bring the new JA Wall version online. Once again – on http://www.DR4Christ.com the twitter count (left menu) should be 37 and it currently is at 34. We will add a couple of more Tweets today – that will bring that up to 39 and you can see the JA Twitter (Right menu) will import them – but JA System Social Feed 1.3.2 – is not.
