I don’t know if this is an issue with Teline III or Joomla…

telineIII sandbox up via quickstart and sample db…
    I created our site menu…
change template setting in temp manager to use our menu

    tested away merrily

then…set our new menu as the default, as it seem the right thing to do…

now the magazine menu and the menu I created are set as the default….
also strange in that the magazine menu now has the menu I created included w/ diff id’s

I did some searches but for now I seem to be the only one that’s had this problem…eva…jajaja

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration….

There is a definite a problem when you change the default menu to use viva the template manager to something besides magazine.

This has happened again running on my local host/remote hosts installs of teline III…all have quickstart and sample db loaded.

When I set our newly defined menu via the template manager, the menu is set also as default as seen from the menu manager but the ‘Home’ in the magazine menu also is set as default…again via the menu manager.

Now when I add a menu item in our menu it is also copied over to the magazine menu. When I delete the spawned menu item in magazine, it deletes it and add another…all sort of ugly problems…The rendering of the front page takes the characteristics of the ‘home’ in magazine menu
