Hi, Can you confirm, that it is not possible to have 2 instances of ACM Features Intro : style-5 on a onepage linked to a menu (one after the other) ?

    • I found a js hack in the forums to load the text with pageload and also tried this, but it did not help.
    • The only way to show text in the second instance was to scroll down the page and then scroll up.
    • I also tried to set the modulecache to no and the delay to 0.
    • I also found adding a simple module suffix would lead to damaged module.

Site is only local till I find solutions.

    Hi

You can simply duplicate style-5 in the directory: ROOT/templates/uber/acm/ to have a new style but functions the same as style-5.

Hi, sounds good but did not work; the text is loaded only if called revers:

    • 1acm / feature intro 5
    • 2 acm / feature intro 5
    • 3 acm / different style

calling from the menu 1-2-3 does not work
    calling 3-2-1 or 1-3-2 works

    • so it seems to be some problem with the Scrollspy.

Changed it to feature style 6, so only style 5 is not usable twice.

May I know which Uber style are you using? I try to install Uber – Home, then duplicate the style-5 for ‘Features Intro’ by copying 2 files:

    ROOT/templates/uber/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-5.php
    ROOT/templates/uber/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-5.xml

to have 2 new files called:
    ROOT/templates/uber/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-52.php
    ROOT/templates/uber/acm/features-intro/tmpl/style-52.xml

Then create a new ACM module with type of Features Intro and select style-52 (just created)

Right, so did I; but I think the problem is if you link it with a menu in the corporate onepage scrollpage; it seems the linked menu does not recognise the next section if there are two intro-styles.

I use a different style now and I am fine with it so I cannot replicate more of this.

(For the ACM Documentation I would recommend to describe the other bug: If you use a Module Suffix not in the JAT-specific field but in the default Joomla-Field, then the hole module does weird things, and if you change the defaults it will not work any more. It is not a problem if you know, that ACM has its own field for a suffix.)

When you experienced any issue with JA ACM module, please create a new post for that, we will check and update if problem persists.

    Thank you!
