First The site is coming along great.. I have had help with the issues I had, or figured them out myself, the site is nowhere near as confusing as my old partner told me it was.. that said I have two quick questions.. first, I have top menus, and under fallen hereos I have Fallen jheroes and Our Wounded.. and the links are there as I would espect, – the issue is the same links are under Our Police see attatchement 1 and 2

    1

    2

The next question has to do with a missing link in the following pic you see and orange box up un the headline area, it used to be a link there, I would like to turn it on again, if anyone can tell me the name of the mod or where to find it

Thanks again for all your help, I have had a great time working on this, some frustration too, but I am a paraplegic from an on the job injury, so I get a little frustrated anyway… You all provided quick precise and easy to follow directions.. I will be asking for help on making pics full size, instead of cropped in half or near half vertically, but let me get this link showing up in the wrong place and missing headline link straightened out first

    Thanks again

    Hi Kenny,

Until your site is visible online it is very difficult to work out what the answers to your questions might be.

I am still lost as to why it isn’t coming up… can you get in through the back end, I have shown to to several people that are having no issues with viewing the site, in fact one was given a link for a sneak peak and it took several hours for her to get back to me, when she wrote she said, it was great and she couldn’t stop looking around

I just went on with my wife’s iPad and it was super easy to load right up.- I wish I knew more about how I would go about making available out of the country

Strange indeed. I can get to your site on my Android cell phone but not my Mac despite both being on the same Wifi network. I’m looking at ‘Quick Responce Team’ and see that the breadcrumbs module shows ‘YOU ARE HERE | BPD UNITS | BPD UNITS’ which doesn’t seem to make much sense. Check your Categories structure ?

BTW Responce should be ‘Response’ ?

it is odd that it will let you in, in one and not the other.. I like this template.. the structure is hard for me, because my old site the drop down was BPD Units, and then the articles were all made up of different units.. here the menu is BPD Units, and the categories are BPD Units.. – I’ll admit, this seems to be a different structure so I am a little mixed up on how to get it close to Article Category Menu. the part that is killing me is to have the categories showing up in two places… if I could figure out how to get it off the BPD Units drop-down,, I don’t mind the other seemingly odd occurrences I can PM you an admin and pw if you can get in

By all means PM an admin access. If you can find an old guy from the Sun newsroom with time on his hands I’m sure some proofreading help would work wonders.

I am paraplegic, no left leg use, and weak left hand, so often when I type, my right hand strikes a key twice for every key stroke of my left hand, I try to catch it, but shit happens.. – for a one guy site, it isn’t awful – Anyway, I tend to have some typos, on top of this I’ll use voice recognition software, and I most have a southern draw, because it often mistakes Maryland for Marlyn – and some others that were down right funny…

I run a spell check ever so often but with no budget, and in some cases using new articles from the 1800 language sounds a little funny anyway…

As for the page having links in two places, you were correct, somehow I ended up with the same category on both line.. it has been corrected

    Thanks again
