Where do i replace the demo images for the banner slide at the top of the module?

Also how do i set the banner to slide on an auto timer and also for different banners within the slide to click through to articles on my site?

    Also

I can’t find the demo content on the site that was installed with the quick start file for the template.

I have deleted all articles but can’t find the sample articles that still exist on the video layout page and some other blog entries.

    Hi mangekyou

<blockquote>Where do i replace the demo images for the banner slide at the top of the module?</blockquote>

You can find images in /images/stories/slideshow

In the Mod_Ja_slideshow you have the Animation Duration so you can set for how many seconds the image can stay on home page

You can add an Hyperlink on your image in the article.

Have you cleaned your JaT3 cache ?

    Thanks for the reply

i have replaced one of the images in /images/stories/slideshow

using the same file name; image-2.jpg for a different image

I have used the correct size dimensions and cleared both my browser cache and the jat3 cache and i see now change.

    am i missing something?

    Hi

In your module manager for the JA Slideshow if you have chosen to work with the slideshow from image folder then you must add some code in the description field as shown here

n at tortor eget purus commodo aliquet eget non tortor. In consequat, ante id placerat iaculis, nunc erat pretium neque, at venenatis arcu ipsum ac metus. Consectetuer cursus dignissim porttitor Curabitur elit nec orci montes <span class="black">adipiscing Fus</span>. Enim est accumsan wisi tincidunt id sem
<a href="#" class="readmore">Learn More</a> <----------------- the link to your article or external url

You must repeat this code for the number of your images

you must also be sure to enable this field in module settings Show Description <—->Description only

Let me know if this solve your issue

I have followed your instructions although i still have problems.

I do not want to show any text on top of my banner, the details are on the image itself.

I just want to link the image to some content when the banner is clicked (anywhere on the banner)

also, when i added the whole code to the description the whole template broke.

When i added a hyper link after deleting all the text, only the hyperlink was shown on the banner

As i said, all i want is the image to be linkable to content, no text

You can use this in your description folder of the module

You can use it in both case if Source is articles or images
