Hello Sir, i am using Ja_nex template, but i have been trying to achieve two side bar as it is on http://www.ipaidabribenaija.com/entertaiment-news/item/70261-i-love-this-guy-maria-confesses-about-melvin
but i have been finding it difficult to do, i in the Ja Nex i am using there sl1-2 and sl1-3 then right positions. On the home page http://hottestgist.com/Nigeria/hottest-gist it’s working fine but i want to have two bars either 1 one the left and another on the right or two side bars on the right as it is on http://www.ipaidabribenaija.com/entertaiment-news/item/70261-i-love-this-guy-maria-confesses-about-melvin.How can i achieve it?
I also noticed that because of the the ja news pro module i am using it i make it to show in the home page http://hottestgist.com/Nigeria/ when i user click on any news item on the news page the ja news pro module and ja side news and even featured-module will show above the article even when i disable it from showing in those pages, though being a news site not all the articles have menu.
Can you help me look at the issues and either help fix it or tell me what to do particularly the two bars it’s very important for me.
Thanks

January 10, 2014 at 3:23 am #517975If you want to show two bars like http://www.ipaidabribenaija.com you need to assign the modules to positions you wish (FYI on all positions on JA Nex Template:
Then, I can help to config and show such two side bars on your site.

</blockquote>I am not entirely sure about this. Just for better clarification, please include a screenshot with notes on what you are trying to achieve here, I will help you out.
January 14, 2014 at 11:01 am #518416I have figured out the position issues and the only problem i have is how to increase the left position width to like 300px.
Below is another problem i have
If you look at the bottom of the screenshot you will see the page being viewd but it is at the bottom, that if a user does not scroll down to the bottom of the page he/she will not know that the page has opened, because of the news pro module above the main article. And these happen if i enable the module in the default joomla page but if i enable it in any other page it will work fine the problem is just with the default page. The same problem occur if i enable Ja News or Featured module.
Finally margin on slide show position, the margin on slide show position or is it padding i don’t really know which is showing the wide white space, if you look at the banner ads at the slide show module position you will notice wide white space at the bottom and top of the banner and i really want to eliminate the space follow this link to see it http://hottestgist.com/Nigeria/
Really need your help to resolve itThanks in advance

January 15, 2014 at 3:10 am #518484If you wish change the left position on JA Nex Template, steps below would help:
Open templates/ja_nex/etc/layouts/default.xml file,
Change
<block name="inset2">left</block>
To
<block name="inset2" width="28">left</block>
You can set any width as you wish.
Remember to clear cache from admin area after such modification.
For the other issue on your site, I have checked but could not figure it out yet, see the screenshot:
