Is it possible to use typography in the content of an article (front end) without going to the backend HTML/PHP code?

Like is there any code to put in content and then the code for Typography so it appears as the “quote or any other design” in the frontend?

but how can I do it? I tried to put the code like I add “<p class=”stickynote”>Your clip note goes here!</p>” but it doesn’t bring the clip note/box in front end. It just brings the code.

    Please help someone.

first turn off the wysiwyg editor under global configuration, then you can add code/html in the content articles. or there might be a html button in the editor you use where you can edit the text you have written also. i prefer to add all text as html without using any editor, but thats me.

Open your HTML box in your editor place the quote code

    <blockquote><span class=”open”>Y</span>our quote goes her<span class=”close”>e!</span></blockquote>

Come out of your html box and simply change the text our quote goes her with your own text.

    Save and done….

Visit the demo template typography for the codes you require 😉

Hi, I need some help with the highlighted blockquote html given on the Pyrite typography page. I used the html button in the wysiwyg toolbar to enter the following:

    <div class=”quote-hilite”><blockquote><span class=”open”>Y</span>our quote goes her<span class=”close”>e!</span></blockquote></div>

When I exit html mode, save, and preview the page, my blockquote includes the “Y” and “e!”. Am I missing something here? So I tried replacing the “Y” and “e!” with the (standard?) html for both left and right double quotes, as below:

    <div class=”quote-hilite”><blockquote><span class=”open”>“</span>our quote goes her<span class=”close”>”</span></blockquote></div>

That gave me unstyled quotes inside the styled, large quotes shown in the template.

    How can I fix this?

    Try this:

This is a sample Blockquote. Use <blockquote><span class=”open”></span>our quote goes her<span class=”close”></span></blockquote> to form a quote!

and replace the red highlighted with your text. It worked for me.

I’m using Pyrite, the new one. The suggested fix doesn’t work, maybe because there are strange things going on with the -hilite suffix for the custom module the quote is in now too. (sigh)

Thanks for your help. I’m going to repost under the correct template and see if anyone else is having the same issue.
