I have jce editor installed. In the configuration for JCE i have

    templates/$template/css/typo.css

designated as the path for the editor custom css file.

The different classes show in the editor interface, but do not function! e.g. the code listed for the “download” or “blockquote” do not work correctly.

The blockquote correctly formats the block with indentions, but there are NO QUOTES.

The “download” properly displays the file download icon, but the download itself does not function to downlaod a file.

What am I doing wrong?? Same for the tiny editor

I seem to have ignored the two “block quotes” style…one with the quote marks and one without the quote marks.
Also, regarding the “download” i did not realize that the full href html code must be entered manually for the file to actually download!

If you use something like JC Editor you can have that use the typography styles from your CSS rather than the in built ones that show with TinyMCE.
