I just did an installation of the latest Uber 2.02. When I went to the extension manager, I did not find the JoomlArt Installer as described in the manual at
http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/uber-template/uber-template-installation#quickstart-installation

I did find a set of alternate templates including one for uber_charity. I copied it and made it the default. Is this now the right way to do things? I really wish we had a manual.

Also, when I tried to enable “install from wen: in the extension manager, I got an error
Warning
Update: :Extension: Could not open http://appscdn.joomla.org/webapps/jedapps/webinstaller.xml

Error connecting to the server: 502

Error
Invalid URL

What should I be looking for?

Perhaps you should try installing your template via FTP

Hi Dave,

How did you install this Uber template – using Quickstart or install manually?

If you want to have JoomlArt Installer tab in Extension Manager, you have to install quickstart package of this template:

You can give it a try again.

It’s because your server is not allow for remote connect. Please contact your sysadmin about this.
