Hi there,

I followed the the JA news2 Tutorial to set up which sections to display on the front page and which colors to associate with each displayed section.


1:Lime
2:Orange
3:Red

Alas the module’s parameters are not taken into account and all sections default to gray…
As you can see here : http://cohabitat.fr/JA
Sections ID are the ones displayed in the administrator and i picked supported color schemes…
So… i really don’t get it.

Anyone has a clue?

Hello annabelr,

You could try spelling the colors with lowercase: lime, orange, red etc.

Still struggling with css though, trying to remove a pale blue (coming from nowhere) background color…

Frontpage in the JA news Frontpage module… But i guess i figured it out… Need to modify the selected style css file, right?

I think you have to look inside file modules/mod_janews_fp/assets/style.css

In there you find the lines:

/* LAYOUT: TELINE II
--------------------------------------------- */
/* Featured News ----*/
.ja-zinfp-featured {
width: 50%;
background: url(dot.gif) repeat-y right #EBF2F7;
overflow: hidden;
}

there is your color that seemed to come out of the blue.

That was it… The pale blue from nowhere has now been replaced.
