Hi,
Am in early stages of learning joomla and am having a problem installing the Teline template.
Have not had any problem with other templates.
Message I get is :
“Failed to move uploaded file to /media directory.”
Any help greatly appreciated, but need it in an ‘Idiot’s Guide’ format – please

Make sure the appropriate folders are chmoded correctly.

Have CHMOD set at 0755, but still unable to instal Teline

Golfie –

Couple of questions… do you have URL we could look at?

Secondly, are you trying to install this template on an existing Joomla site, or is this a fresh install?

And thirdly, how are you installing the template? Are you using the template installer or are you trying to ftp it, etc. Sounds like a stupid question, but sometimes it just something simple. 🙂

Thanks for reply. Haven’t uploaded anything yet – still on hard drive.
Am using the template installer and have already installed other templates successfully – just to check that I wasn’t doing something stupid !!
In fact, have just uploaded a random template (ja_larix) without any isssue. Have also tried again to install ja_teline. No joy. Same message :
