Hi

I have installed several Joomla sites and have never had this problem and it’s got me puzzled. I used the quickstart Drimia 1.0 file and the installation process gave no errors. However, when I try to install modules and templates, everything is fine, but when I try to install components such as Eventlist, Joomfish and Community Builder, I get error messages such as:

Unable to create directory ‘/hsphere/local/home/nlopes/bluething.pt/media/install_47b5520f0e64e/admin/’Unable to create path for /hsphere/local/home/nlopes/bluething.pt/media/install_47b5520f0e64e/admin/

for Eventlist.

Failed to create directory “/hsphere/local/home/nlopes/bluething.pt/components/com_comprofiler/”

for Community Builder.

All directories are rewriteable.

Can you check with your host if php is running is safe mode?
