I have installed the Platon template and tried to install the jomsocial component but am getting this message:

JInstaller: :Install: Can’t find XML setup file.
Error
Path does not have a valid package.

Unable to find install package

Joomla has been updated to 3.4.6.
Can you help?

Hi
Please check you have a valid installation file of the JS package . + check the version of Jomsocial you are installing is compatible with Latest Joomla , is its just released .
Here is link from Jomsocial documentation site to install JS on Joomla .
