Thank you for your reply.
If you cared to read my above posts it clearly states ive attempted to load quickstart 10 times and it STILL doesnt work.

Can someone from this sites SUPPORT TEAM please at least make an attempt to solve my issues with your purchased product.

Hi Andy

I’m not Support Staff, in fact I’m a veteran of about 9 weeks when it comes to Joomla and Joomlart. That may not inspire much confidence but it does mean that problems with stupid solutions are still very fresh in my mind. If I can offer any assistance please ask. I’ve been there and pulled my hair out and any help is better than none!

Failing that if you want a complete overview of what all the settings are for each module there is a great link here that gives them all to you with screenshots. That might solve your problem.

Sorry Andy but I’m going to stick my nose in again.

I just uploaded Nex and it went in perfectly.

Then I noticed something about your site.

If I go to http://www.speedillustrated.com.au/ I get what is presumably your current site.

If I go to http://www.speedillustrated.com.au/index.php this is the Nex install.

Being a newbie how does this work then? Because my site is at at http://www.domain.com/index.php. If I go to http://www.domain.com it defaults to http://www.domain.com/index.php. Maybe you have a conflict here?

I’d suggest installing Nex at http://www.speedillustrated.com.au/newsite and see if it will take the quickstart and work there.

Right I’ll leave you alone.

#1. Because i’m not sure how did you install quickstart, at my side quickstart installed ( w/ sample database ) and site show very well as demo. That’s why i have asked try to install again your quickstart
This’s simpy & fastest way 🙂 ( before we go deeply of check )

Ok… ive deleted the whole hosting account and started from scratch to prevent confusion.

Downloaded quick start…. extracted

went to installation and got these error messages: The normal instal screen is in the middle but im unable go get pass language as it just crashes.

Look like it’s php issue that can’t write session or please check your /tmp dir ( under Joomla! root location ).
Actually you can ask your hosting provider about this.

Simply set you tmp directory to have WRITE permissions. That should do it.
