anybody ever get this problem when the tried logging into their joomla back end?

the /administrator page gives me this error

<blockquote>Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/yamemaru/public_html/administrator/index.php on line 88</blockquote>

anybody have any idea what I could try?
