March 11, 2012 at 8:53 pm #443024Can you help us out a bit…for instance, what was the reason you decided to change your permissions using Akeeba Admin?
What type of installation were you doing? (i.e. QuickStart or template only install) What version of Joomla! are you using, etc.
And the URL so that we may see the error messages. These types of helpful information allow us to diagnose and prescribe remedies more quickly.
Thank you,
John.March 11, 2012 at 10:50 pm #443032Thanks, John. I was doing a template only install. I was upgrading Joomla from 1.5 to 2.5 and had the 1.5 version of the template on the old site. I have been having permissions trouble with the site and had the host make changes to the permissions. He says everything should be ok now. I can install/uninstall other things so I think I am on the right track, but keep getting this error with the template. I found another thread which had the same error message and since permissions were mentioned, I thought I would use Akeeba to make sure permissions were correct. I can pm you the credentials to the site if you want to have a look.

June 22, 2012 at 9:20 am #458475Hi fracklk,
Could you make your issue clearer? you meant that you cannot save changes of settings? May I know what happen when you click the Save button- is there any error (javascript or PHP error)? and did you try to make change the permissioin?
