HI. I am currently trying to upgrade my template using the JA Extensions Manager. Whenever I try to upgrade to 2.5.3 or 2.5.4 I get the following error

    500 – Internal Server Error
-1 – An error has occurred.
    Copy failed

    Return to Control Panel
I did previously use 2.5.1 and was able to upgrade to 2.5.2.

    Please help?

I also have a problem with doing a compare of the versions 2.5.2 and 2.5.4 when I try and view the diff of template.css. Strangely the others seem to show the difference fine.

    Hi there
Look like you have permission issue. Please check your server logs for detail.
If you stil can’t do that. Please let me know. I’ll try to do.

    Thank you,
    Viet Vu

Hi, I emailed back a reply with an attachment of the logs (which contain no problem information), and I still cannot perform the upgrade.

    Hi Viet,
    Thanks for that.
It looks like you restored my custom configuration files to templates.css as well – so thanks again.
One problem I have though is with the Javascript optimization. You may have noticed that I had set this to NO. The reason is that if I choose any of the other optimization settings things break. Namely:
    1. the mega menu (no dropdowns)
    2. my phoca download extension – I am unable to see the “download tree” in the bottom right module on the front page
    3. ari image slider – on the front page i have an image carousel. this does not load.

I can understand issues 2 and 3 as they are 3rd party extensions and are probably not as robust as your own. However, I am puzzled why the megamenu breaks.

Thanks for your other help again,
    Edward
