Hi all, I edited an article with HTML code, particularly a table, and the template shows a table with unexpected borders and padding.

How I can avoid predefined table and cells styles when I’m coding html inside an article??

    Thanks in advance

    Hi xuxo,

You can try to go to settings of TinyMCE plugin’s backend, and add these elements:

    i, div, p, a

into Extended Valid Elements parameter (right below Prohibited Elements)

Now you can try to add HTML codes into articles again.

p/s:Thanks to Ninja Lead and Saguaros.

Hi @leo Burnetts, thank you for your answer but unfortunatelly that TinyMCE plugin configuration still don’t solve my problem.

After your recommended TinyMCE setup, you can check here how the output is, with lines in each row, and text alignments which are’nt defined on the article’s HTML code. You can check here on my backend the article and the html code within.

Thanks in advance por your help

    Hi xuxo,

Another solution is selecting the Editor – None of Default Editor option in Global configuration, then try to put the HTML codes into the article.

After saving all articles with HTML codes you want, you can roll back to TinyMCE editor as usual.
