    Hi

I am facing problem in installing any module or component on my joomla site hosted at godaddy.com. The error which was displayed is something like

Jfolder :: create: Could not create directory
    Warning! failed to move file

Godaddy has now told me that they offer limited support for these sort of erros and the only way is to unistall the automatic joomla installation done by them and install joomla on my own.

My question is that will this uninstalling will undo all the customization changes ( for e.g. forms fileds orders were changed etc.) and module additions for JA job board. Moreover if and when I upgrade to new version, will these changes be preserved.

Do let me know at the earliest as I am unable to install anything on my joomla right now.

    Regards

    Hi there,

    1. For error occurred on installing Extensions in Joomla: “Jfolder :: create: Could not create directory”
    >> You must change the permission for folder on your site in order to be able to install extensions.

    2. Upgrade JAJobBoard:
    >> All changes related to database (including Form field order, job data…) on former version are kept the same in the latter version after upgrading.
    >> All changes related to code (php file, css file…) will be disappeared when upgrading up to the next version.
