Hi,

I am working with ja_news but I have some things on the frontpage wich i dont want.

I make 4newsflash categories . I give them the module positions 1,2,5,6 and Frontpage is unchecked. Why they are on the Frontpage in ja_news again? I dont want the newsflash double on the Frontpage.

Any solution?

Which categories did you add in the settings of the Ja-News module? If you added the IDs of these newsflash categories you should try to remove them. But this is difficult to answer without having a look at the live site.

this sounds good. But where can I find these ID´s ?
I cannot find it in sitemodules/ja_news

In Joomla backend go to Content > Category Manager
There you see your categories listed and there is a column “Category ID”
Use these ID numbers in the settings of Ja-News (seperated by comma) to choose which categories should be shown.
