November 15, 2017 at 1:12 am #1074363Thanks, Saguaros. Just to stress the Unpublished Article issue it’s not only with the first article in the category blog, it can appear anywhere on the page. I just set the first article to demonstrate the problem.

November 16, 2017 at 2:42 am #1074630Could you backup your site first and update the latest version for template and T3?

November 23, 2017 at 5:46 am #1076090Hi Saguaros,
Apologies again for the delay in updating the status on this post. It took me a while to apply the Joomla and Joomlart updates. Part of the reason is that there a number of customisations (for which you’ve provided me code in the past) that I need to apply.
Having applied the updates and made the customisation, my problem with Unpublished Articles now appears to be resolved on my staging website: http://staging.robertfairhead.com
I now need to apply the updates (and customisation) to my live environment to fully confirm the problem is resolved. I hope to do so tomorrow and will advise you asap.
One question I have, however, is to do with the custom code you provided, specifically:
com-content/category/blog_leading.php
com-content/category/xblog_leading.php
com-content/featured/default_leading.phpThis code allows me to display fulltext_image for the first article on the page, while the (smaller) intro_image is displayed for other articles on the page.
Are there Joomlart updates that need to be applied to these files? For instance, it occurred to me there could have been a bug in these files that displayed Unpublished Articles, which had been fixed in blog_item.php, xblog_item.php and default_item.php. I’m not saying there WAS a bug, but if there was, then it might have remained in the "_leading" versions of the code.
Thanks again for all your help.

November 24, 2017 at 6:34 am #1076394I’m not quite sure about your last question, could you clarify it in more details?

November 28, 2017 at 4:38 am #1077239Hi Saguaros,
I’ll try again, having applied the Joomla and Joomlart updates to my staging environment, Unpublished Articles are no longer being displayed: http://staging.robertfairhead.com
I still need to apply the updates and custom code changes to my live environment. But, I have a query about the custom code changes and in particular, the custom code you guys provided in the following support posts:
https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/performance-reports-images-resized-in-html-or-css-from-680×440-to-292×189/
https://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/code-changes-for-menu-type-blog-view/These code files were:
com-content/category/blog_leading.php
com-content/category/xblog_leading.php
com-content/featured/default_leading.phpAnd they allow me to display the fulltext_image for the first article on the page (home page, category blog, blog), while the (smaller) intro_image is displayed for other articles on the page.
All I want to know is, are there Joomlart code changes/updates that need to be applied to these files? If so, how do I update the files?

November 29, 2017 at 9:49 am #1077698Hi Robert,
I got your point, the custom changes applied in above 3 files are in template directory, so when you update Joomla and T3 framework, it will not be affected.
or add the changed files into local folder of template: {root}/templates/{template-name}/local
Pls check out this docs for more info: http://www.t3-framework.org/documentation/extend-com-content#isolate-template
Let me know if you need further helps.
Regards
