July 23, 2013 at 7:51 pm #189183Hi,
It seem that apostrophe ( ‘ ) caracter is not recognized in form customizations option elements
For exemple, Industrie de l'information is suppose to be read: Industrie de l’information.
That situation occur on backend and frontend (when connected on edit mode). The display is fine on regular frontend view?
Even if this post said that it’s fix (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/apostrophe-bug/, the problem is still there on my side…
Could you please help us on that one.
Thanks in advance,
JP

July 24, 2013 at 7:35 am #499994Hello,
Are you talking to “Field Label” ?
If yes, it still works nicely with multiple languages. Which Jobboard version are you using ?
Regards

July 24, 2013 at 3:02 pm #500044Hi HeR0,
Thanks again for your excellent support! I really appreciate.
I’m using the latest version of Jobboard (1.0.4).
“Field Label” that contain apostrophe are well displayed…
The issue is more on options (from edit options) of single_select or multiple_select fields… The apostrophe generated special caracters like this ‘
When we are on frontend viewing mode, the display is fine for the apostrophe but, when we are on edit mode (frontend or backend), the issue mentionned appear…
Here are few printscreen to show in details the issue:
Backend editing mode:
Frontend editing mode:
Frontend viewing mode:
Do you have something to suggest?
Thanks in advance!

July 29, 2013 at 7:43 am #500435Hi,
I have made some changes while commenting out the following code line in this file administrators/components/com_jajobboard/tables/ja_categories.php file to get the issue fixed.
JFilterOutput::objectHTMLSafe($this, ENT_QUOTES, ”);
Kindly check and get back to me if the issuer still persists.
Regards.

July 29, 2013 at 2:05 pm #500496Hi HeR0,
Thanks for your investigations.
Ok now the apostrophe issue is gone for the “Categories”. I also commented out the same code (JFilterOutput::objectHTMLSafe($this, ENT_QUOTES, ”); ) for ja_location.php file and the apostrophe is showing as it suppose for “Locations” as well.
Great for these 2 tables.
But, the issue is still there for any king of single_select or multiple_select options fields… (ex.: Forms customization / Code CNP / Edit option)…
You may see the issue for this field (Code CNP) when entering a new job through the backend (Job Manager)
Print screen example…:
Thanks in adavance,
JP

August 1, 2013 at 2:18 am #500806Dear JP,
After commenting out that line of code, did you edit the options which caused the problem ?
If not, you need to edit >> update them.
