Hi,
When an order is placed on the website, sometime, the buyer doesn’t receive a confirmation email, but It send the email at unwanted user like “webmaster@joomlart.com, nnth@nnth.info, nh@nh.hong, fewfew@yahoo.com, and aaaa@aaa.com.
I have read the follow post, but the explanation did not solve my problem.
Could you be more specific please?
Sorry, but my low knowledge of Sql does not allow my to understand fully.
I’m on Joomla 1.5.10 and VM 1.1.3. with Joomlart.com Mesolite template
Thanks
I had this problem, so I had a look in PHPMyAdmin and found that there were entries that must have been installed with VirtueMart. I’m using a package from Joomlart.com which has Joomla pre-configured with their design template and VirtueMart. There were unwanted user entries for “webmaster@joomlart.com, nnth@nnth.info, nh@nh.hong, fewfew@yahoo.com, and aaaa@aaa.com.
The problem seems to be that VirtueMart entered my new users with user_id numbers that matched these pre-installed users. So VirtueMart mixed up the new user with the old user.
I used PHPMyAdmin to delete the offending entries from the jos_vm_user_info table. I also had to go into jos_vm_order_user_info and delete the orders which went through to the wrong email address. I’m just testing this with dummy orders; other people might not want to delete real orders that went through.
I’m on Joomla 1.5.10 and VM 1.1.3. with Joomlart.com Mesolite template. I’ll post here again if this doesn’t solve my troubles.

ThanksHi fracom
please upgrade joomla to 1.5.18 as well 10 was a bug ridden version.:)
Many of the JA quick starts/templates have several users added as registered users for tests carried out in their demo , which is used to populate the quick starts. Sandinine II was particularly heavy with testers due to the forum and cb areas, same goes for the shopping carts.I use Zeolite II and had to remove users etc. getting rid of the added users from the database is easy, but I’d suggest you also look in the user manager as well , for there may be ja testers registered there as well. if so remove all who are not legitimate members.
If you are in need of guidance re teh database side of things, PM me and I’ll make a video tutorial to show you how th remove users from VM user etc . best advise from now on? Check the users who are registered before starting the population of the cart.
Blessings Shannon
