using JA Purity II – have inserted a common slider.. and that works fine but I need the rest of the page to collapse to the bottom of the slide show, another wards, the footer should be right after the slider as I have no other content in any positions – I am kind of stumped by this, have used Firebug, etc and can’t seem to isolate the problem – why all the white space under slider to the footer? site is

Hi shulbert,

You can hide the empty content area by going to Template Manager >> JA_Purity_Default >> Profile >> Create a profile. In new profile, you can set Yes to Hide Main content block and assign the new profile to Home menu item. Clear JAT3 cache then.

By that way, the witdth space of empty content area will go away.

hi leo, thanks – I had already created a separate profile for the homepage but did not have ‘hide main content block’ set to “yes”, so I did that but still no results…? any other ideas for this, module class suffix maybe…?

Hi shulbert,

I saw the empty white space had gone away. It seems that you solved the issue by using the overridden css styles. Is it right ?
