Hi All,

I am looking for a module (extension?) for a musician to list upcoming shows in the sidebar with the ability to link to the specific show information on another page. Does this exist? If not, is there a module that you could recommend that is similar that I could modify to suit the need?

Don’t know if it makes a difference, but I am using the Galena template for this.

Well, after some digging I came up with EventList http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/calendars-&-events/events/99/details seems to do everything I need and there is also a sidebar module you can download. Looks pretty good. Maybe this will help someone else who might be searching for something like this.

You may check out redEvent by redComponent.com. I have seen some problems with EventList recently, coming up when you want to use some more “third party modules” to the EventList, that those are either only legacy mode ones and often have drastic problems with IE6. I do not know how important IE6 compatibility is for you, but when, then those may come up…

It is based on the EventList but with a lot more features and a lot more events.;)
