    Hi micker,

It’s recommended to backup your overrided custom.css file before upgrading new version of T3 and please use our JA Extension manager component to update JA Products. When upgrading with JA Extension manager, there is option for you to check which file is modifiled /added then you can decide to update new file or not. And you can roll back to previous version with youru old custom styles

the custom.css is the only file for all modification .. (bootstrap recommendation)
it will be more clear because if we update on link of template administration we didn’t use your component …
thanks for this framework it realy works good !

    Hi Micker,

In general, custom.css file contains all overridden css styles, so you need to backup. In fact, this file won’t be overriden by updating T3 system plugin, except upgrading current template.
We also provide link “Check for new version” in Overview tab of Template Manager for keeping on our JA product updates.
With JA template using T3v3 (T3) framework, We still provide option of Optimize CSS >> at admin >> Template Manager >> Current_template_style >> General tab.

    Hi micker,

By default, the new template (i.e) files will override the old template files, also html folder when you upgrade with new version.
The most effective method to protect your modified files is by backing them up before upgrading. Then apply modiifed changes to new template files.
In addition, you can upgrade via our JAEM which lets you rollback to backup of extension’s previous version.
