I have just updated my site joomla 1.5.14 to joomla 1.5.15 when I click on a menu here is the message :

Look at the PHP version you are using.

It’s recommended to have 5.2 for Joomla 1.5, but the minimum is 4.3.10.

Still, this is a problem in some of PHP versions. Read this for more details. Upgrading to PHP 5 should help in any case.
