Hi
Kindly take backup of custom changes if it’s in the core files.
You can add the customised files in the local folder.
Example : /tpls/block/header.php file had your posiitons.
Copy the file and paste it in the template folder /local/tpls/blocks/header.php
It will work as an override and not update during template updates.
