I am using Teline iii 1.4.1 with Joomla 1.5.15

Joomla 1.5.18 stable is available now via http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/12351/51132/Joomla_1.5.15_to_1.5.18-Stable-Patch_Package.zip

Is it safe to update Joomla with Teline iii ___ ??

If it is safe to update then what is the best way to update ?

It is safe if done properly.

The overall procedure is:
-Download the correct patch package.
-Make a copy of your live site.
-Install the patch package on the copy site.
-Make any database changes required on your copy site.
-Test it thoroughly.
-Backup your live site.
-Install the patch package on your live site.
-Make any database changes required on your live site.
-Make any other changes required
-Check your live site to make sure it is working correctly.
