    Hi,
I’ve installed Teline IV at January and actually my Joomla version installed is 1.5.21. Next I modified backend and frontend language int Italian.
How can I update Joomla version at 1.5.23? I have to update with localized package (Italian) or I have to update with standard (English) package?
I have to update first at 1.5.22 and next 1.5.23 or directly at 1.5.23?
    Thanks

To update from 1.5.21 to 1.5.23 just download and the upgrade package “Joomla_1.5.21_to_1.5.23-Stable-Patch_Package.zip“. When you unzip the archive, upload the files to your server keeping the folder’s structure (how to).

Language packages are updated separately. As far as I can see from here the latest version is for J1.5.22. So, you need to update language files also.

    Thanks for your fast reply!
But, if I’ve modified some file of Teline IV (i.e.: date display at top page, the logo and some other little things), must I do the same procedure?

When you update Joomla or front/back-end language files, no Teline IV template’s files will be affected.

If you decide to update the template (check if newer version is available in the downloads) all hacks and modifications are to be re-applied again.

Keep back-up of the entire web-site to check and re-apply modifications (hacks).
