by logic, joomla 2.5 do not have much core changing b compare with 1.7 so it should be work fine.

Turn it on in Joomla 2.5 then! Article Manager! Options! Editing Layout!

JA Will begin releasing templates and updates for the JAT3 system and other extensions from next week onwards. It is a little unfortunate that this year the delayed release of Joomla coincided with the lunar festival in JA land. As such all the devs were on their annual holidays. Keep an eye on the JA Blogs and announcements will be made very soon with the full roadmap with regards to J2.5 compatability.

T3 plugin V 1.6.1 has been released with JA Mers for now. It will be released with T3 blank template soon after it is tested. Please wait for the same.

JA Mers was regular monthly release, so the plugin was updated for it. You will be able to download it once it is released with T3 blank.
