February 7, 2013 at 11:46 pm #482831This is poor answer but I upgraded one Joomla 2.5.8 site from T3V2-T3V3 and had no issues. I upgraded another site and it hosed it. /Administrator just returned a blank screen, most likely from a PHP error. I was unable to trouble shot it. Luckily is was a pretty fresh install so I re-installed the site.
So i would suggest taking a full back-up, try it, and if it fails you can restore.

February 8, 2013 at 1:58 am #482838Hi mackdoyle,
In fact T3v2 and T3v3 are different. They are two separate plugin framework and the template for those framework does not work with other.
As the release of T3 v1.1.0 RC1 (the latest version is T3 v1.1.0 RC2), T3 now is a different plugin again although it still base on T3v3.
You can not install and enable T3 and T3v2 on the same system. There is some conflict in prefix function. Please only use T3 with T3 Blank plugin or our newest template JA Mitius.
Here the official site of new T3
http://t3-framework.org/And github
https://github.com/t3framework/t3Hope its clear now.

February 8, 2013 at 6:09 am #482852Thanks Mackdoyle,
I tried to update it( in J3&JA Puresite ) manually as well but with no result as they use different classes in index.php in a template folder. Perhaprs it’s quite possible to update it to higher version but I have no time for it, I need to finish my project soon. haha
Anyway, thank you so much!
Good luck!March 11, 2013 at 3:28 pm #486045Hi Wall Crasher
Just a note that those of us moving sites to responsive design templates may need two templates for some time, until extensions catch up.
It is really a big pain that this conflict means we cannot use two Joomlart templates (t3v2 and t3v3) on the same site. If it is a matter of a prefix… can the conflict be fixed?
Thanks
