January 28, 2012 at 7:01 pm #173299HI Guys and Gals,
I am using the current version of Teline IV for Joomla 1.7.
I recently tried to update from Joomla 1.7.4 to Joomla 2.5.0 using Joomla’s internal updater in the back end, and ran into several database errors. The errors are listed below:
- JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL DB function failed with error number 1060
- Files Update: SQL error file DB function failed with error number 1060
Duplicate column name ‘ordering’ SQL=ALTER TABLE `rmt57_languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
SQL =
ALTER TABLE `#__languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;Duplicate column name ‘ordering’ SQL=ALTER TABLE `rmt57_languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
SQL =
ALTER TABLE `#__languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;Is there a fix for this, because I have no desire to edit my Teline IV all over again. I made some modifications that are not all that much, but it’s still work I’d like to avoid if possible.
Any ideas as to what’s going on here?
Walt.

January 28, 2012 at 11:32 pm #435953Hello,
Here is a fix for a very similar issue http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2726318
There are many similar threads on J.org, so it looks like it’s an issue with Joomla and not the template. Let me know if this helps.January 29, 2012 at 11:44 am #436009hum… Teline IV is not compatible with Joomla 2.5 The template need an update.

February 5, 2012 at 8:06 pm #437045Marco, I may have found a fix for this issue… although Teline IV definately needs an update.
When I updated the Teline iv quickstart to 2.5.0, it had some problems, and the sql issues, existed… for some strange reason, I refreshed the page, the install page, and Joomla 2.5.0 was still there, so I updated it again… Then I went to the database tab, and clicked “fix”, and it worked out pretty well. However, now, when I’m logged into the main site, my home page disappears. It’s one thing after another it seems. Hope the JA team can fix this issue soon, or I will have to start from scratch, or design and build my own template.
Walt.
